Portland Trail Blazers Roster Report 2009-03-02
ROTATION. Starters -- Point guard Steve Blake, Shooting guard Brandon Roy, Small forward Nicolas Batum, Power forward LaMarcus Aldridge, Center Joel Przybilla. Bench -- Forward Travis Outlaw, Guard Rudy Fernandez, Forward Channing Frye, Guard Sergio Rodriguez.

--F LaMarcus Aldridge had one of his best offensive games of the season, knocking down open jumper after open jumper. It was the 27th time Aldridge has scored 20 or more points this season, but he has no 30-point games. His season high is 28.

--San Antonio's Tim Duncan, who had missed the previous three games with a knee injury, was held in check by Portland C Joel Przybilla. The 7-foot Duncan had 14 points and four rebounds in 26 minutes, making only 6-of-15 shots.

--F Nicolas Batum made only 1-of-6 shots, but it was a sweeping baseline dunk that may have been the game's most sensational play. Batum also had six rebounds and three steals in 22 minutes.

--F/C Channing Frye was big off the bench for Portland, sinking 5-of-6 shots and collecting 12 points and four rebounds in 20 minutes.

--C Greg Oden (knee) is not progressing as quickly as hoped, coach Nate McMillan said Sunday. His return isn't imminent.

--F Martell Webster (foot) will be re-evaluated Tuesday but isn't expected to be back before the playoffs.

--F-C Raef LaFrentz (shoulder surgery) is rehabbing at his home in Des Moines, Iowa.
