Portland Trail Blazers Notes, Quotes 2009-05-15
--The Blazers ran their string of consecutive sellouts to 72 games, including playoffs, this season. Many believe the Rose Garden provides the best home-court advantage in the league. The players notice the support all around the city.

"The atmosphere in Portland is more like a college town," LaMarcus Aldridge said. "This city embraced us and got behind us so much that it was fun to go out even to the store. People would see you and be all lit up and excited. It was love."

--G Sergio Rodriguez was in and out of the rotation during the regular season and hardly played in the playoffs. He probably will want to move on to a team that can put his talents to better use.

"Sergio wants to play, he wants to compete," general manager Kevin Pritchard said. "He wants to get on the court. I totally understand that. We'll look at our options with him, but he helped us win games this year. It's not like we're just going to get rid of him."

QUOTE TO NOTE: "The playoffs are expected for us now. Not that we have to start talking about a championship, but from this offseason forward, we are building toward that. Because once you get (to the postseason), you are playing for the title." -- Portland coach Nate McMillan.
