--Joel Przybilla was clearly Portland's most valuable player Saturday night, grabbing a career-high 25 rebounds to go with 14 points on 7-of-10 shooting. It was two shy of Sidney Wicks' franchise rebound record and the most by a Blazer since Bill Walton got 25 in a game in December 1977.
"It was a great effort by Joel," guard Brandon Roy said. "He dominated the paint tonight." "I didn't play as well as I wanted to last night," Przybilla said. "I came in here focused and ready to go."
--Brandon Roy has struggled at the foul line in recent weeks and missed two attempts that could have clinched victory in the final minute Friday night. He was 8 of 8 in Saturday's game, including 6 of 6 in the fourth quarter.
"I was disappointed that I was able to seal the game last night," said Roy, who finished with a game-high 23 points to go with six assists and three rebounds. "I told myself to concentrate at the foul line, and I was able to do a much better job."
QUOTE TO NOTE: "We were joking during warmups, telling Joel he got only three rebounds the night before and that we needed more of him tonight. I didn't know he was going to get 25." -- Brandon Roy, after Joel Przybilla's career rebounding game.
